Installation & Fitment

Installation is straightforward for the 2022 and newer Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 models. The Short Teardrop shape is designed to fit the factory reverse lockout mechanism perfectly without any additional parts. For other shapes such as Sphere, Lightbulb, Tall Teardrop, Piston, and Sledge, a Reverse Lockout Adaptor is recommended to achieve proper clearance and eliminate any gaps between the knob base and the lockout.

This adaptor ensures a secure and precise fit, maintaining the OEM feel and functionality of the reverse lockout system. Installation requires no permanent modifications and can be completed with basic hand tools.
