Construction & Design:
The fuel surge tank features a robust extruded aluminum canister finished with anodizing to resist corrosion and wear. The billet aluminum caps are sealed with O-rings to prevent leaks and allow easy access for maintenance or pump installation. All fittings are located on the top of the tank, simplifying plumbing and reducing the risk of leaks or damage.
Internally, the tank includes a flow deflector to minimize fuel aeration and foam, which can negatively impact pump performance. The internal pump mounts securely using fuel-resistant tubing, ensuring durability and compatibility with a variety of fuel types including ethanol blends and methanol.
Electrical connections use anti-rotation stainless steel studs with non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts to prevent accidental short circuits. The wiring inside the tank is insulated with chemically resistant ETFE, providing long-lasting reliability in harsh fuel environments.
Installation & Fitment:
