The anodizing is performed by hand using a specialized technique that builds a robust, scratch-resistant layer of color, ensuring long-lasting vibrancy and protection against wear.

The design accommodates the unique reverse lockout mechanism of the 2022+ BRZ and GR86, with the Short Teardrop shape fitting directly to OEM specifications. Other shapes are engineered to sit slightly higher with the addition of a Reverse Lockout Adaptor, maintaining functionality without compromising aesthetics.

Installation & Fitment

Installation is straightforward for enthusiasts familiar with aftermarket shift knobs. The Short Teardrop shape installs directly onto the factory shifter without modification, providing an OEM-like fit and finish. For other shapes—Sphere, Lightbulb, Tall Teardrop, Piston, and Sledge—a Reverse Lockout Adaptor is recommended to ensure proper clearance and eliminate any gaps between the knob base and the reverse lockout mechanism.

This adaptor allows the shift knob to sit at the correct height, preserving the factory reverse lockout function and preventing accidental engagement of reverse gear. The installation process requires no permanent modifications and can typically be completed with basic hand tools.
