Construction & Design

Installation & Fitment

Installation is straightforward and designed to be a direct replacement for the factory shift knob on 2013–2021 Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota 86 models equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Short Teardrop shape installs with an OEM-style fit, requiring no additional parts or modifications.

For other shapes such as Sphere, Lightbulb, Tall Teardrop, Piston, and Sledge, a Reverse Lockout Adaptor is recommended to provide the necessary clearance for the factory reverse lockout mechanism. Without this adaptor, these shapes will sit slightly higher, creating a small gap between the knob base and the lockout. The adaptor ensures a precise fit and maintains the factory feel and function of the shifter assembly.
