All GD discs are now made totally using R90 approved rotor blanks.
Fast street GD sport discs feature wide aperture slots that draw cool air into the braking contact area and reduce temperatures preventing brake fade. Dimple drilling avoids stress cracks and Gen 1/2/3 coating provides great looks whilst preventing corrosion. For 2023 all new production is in the GEN 3 silver Geomet to match OE rotor hubs.
EBC sport discs now feature reduced 3 slot venting, which provides slightly less air noise under heavy braking whilst still maintaining the benefits of cooler running with the full width slot design. Another great feature of slotted discs is the way they MAINTAIN FLAT AND PARALLEL PAD WEAR and avoid the record grooves or galling, common with non-slotted discs. This improves pad contact and braking throughout the life of the disc and pad set.
Manufactured using premium disc blanks mentioned above, the unique wide aperture slots in the EBC sport rotor actually draw cool air under the pad during heavy braking and reduce brake temperatures while also helping remove dirt, dust and debris and gasses created by heavy braking from the pad contact area.
They also improve braking in off road conditions of wet, mud or sand and as such are a great choice for 4x4 vehicles. Blind drilled holes eliminate the chance of rotor cracking which is common with through drilled or completely drilled vent holes.

EBC Turbo Groove and Spotty Discs are directional LEFT and RIGHT which is nearside and offside of your vehicle. The spotted pattern and the sweeping grooves should be pointing to the rear of the vehicle.
