Important Usage Notes
Wrapping catalytic converters is not recommended as excessive heat retention can reduce their lifespan. The wrap is designed for permanent installation; once heat cycled, the fibers lose flexibility and should not be removed or repositioned. Avoid wrapping flexible exhaust joints to prevent damage. DEI does not recommend using this wrap on titanium exhaust systems due to the risk of heat-induced brittleness and cracking of the titanium alloy.
