Construction & Design:

The Torque Solution Short Shifter is meticulously crafted using CNC machining processes to ensure precise tolerances and exceptional build quality. The main shifter lever is constructed from 304 stainless steel, chosen for its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, ensuring durability under demanding driving conditions.

The reverse lockout collar and mounting plate are made from CNC billet aluminum, anodized in black for both aesthetics and protection. Rubber O-rings are strategically incorporated throughout the design to dampen vibrations and reduce high-pitched resonance commonly associated with solid Delrin bushings, providing a refined shift feel without the softness of OEM rubber bushings.

Additional Notes

This short shifter uses solid Delrin bushings instead of the OEM rubber bushings. To mitigate noise and vibration (NVH) associated with this change, additional rubber O-ring dampening has been incorporated. While this design reduces NVH compared to solid bushings alone, some vibration and noise are still to be expected due to the elimination of the softer OEM bushings.
