Rubber O-rings are strategically incorporated throughout the design to dampen vibrations and reduce high-pitched resonance commonly associated with solid Delrin bushings, providing a refined shift feel without the softness of OEM rubber bushings.

Additional Notes
This short shifter uses solid Delrin bushings instead of the OEM rubber bushings. To mitigate noise and vibration (NVH) associated with this change, additional rubber O-ring dampening has been incorporated. While this design reduces NVH compared to solid bushings alone, some vibration and noise are still to be expected due to the elimination of the softer OEM bushings.
