The compressor side uses lightweight aluminum covers and splitter wheels made from 2618 aluminum alloy, which contribute to reduced rotating mass and faster spool times.
Advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) guided the design of the compressor and turbine housings to optimize airflow and maintain efficient power delivery across a broad operating range.
