DEI Exhaust Wrap: 2 Inches Wide x 25 Feet Long
Fits Most Models
10004
Overview:
The DEI Black Titanium Exhaust Wrap is a high-performance thermal barrier designed to protect your vehicle’s exhaust system and underhood components. Crafted from pulverized lava rock fibers woven into a proprietary diagonal weave, this wrap offers superior durability and flexibility compared to conventional wraps. It is engineered for enthusiasts and daily drivers alike who want to reduce underhood temperatures, improve exhaust gas velocity, and enhance overall engine performance.
By wrapping headers and exhaust pipes, this product helps minimize heat soak, prevent burns, and protect heat-sensitive parts, while also reducing heat transfer through the firewall and floor for a more comfortable cabin environment. Its sleek black carbon fiber appearance adds a professional look to your engine bay.
Key Features:
DEI’s Black Titanium Exhaust Wrap combines advanced materials and thoughtful design to deliver lasting performance benefits:
- Made from pulverized lava rock fibers woven into a proprietary diagonal weave for enhanced strength and durability.
- Extremely pliable construction allows for easy installation around tight bends and complex exhaust geometries.
- Resistant to chemical oil spills and vibration breakdown, ensuring long-term reliability.
- Withstands direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat spikes up to 2500°F without degradation.
- Does not require pre-wetting for installation, simplifying the wrapping process.
- Reduces underhood temperatures to maximize horsepower and maintain high exhaust gas velocity.
- Helps prevent heat soak and protects heat-sensitive components under the hood.
- Minimizes heat transmitted through the firewall and floor, improving interior comfort.
- Features a black carbon fiber look that maintains a clean, professional appearance.
Construction & Design:
The wrap is constructed from pulverized lava rock fibers that are stranded into a durable fiber material and woven into a proprietary diagonal pattern. This unique weave enhances the wrap’s strength and flexibility, allowing it to conform tightly to exhaust pipes and headers, even around sharp bends. The material’s resistance to chemical exposure and vibration ensures it remains intact and effective over time, even in demanding environments.
Unlike traditional wraps, DEI’s Black Titanium Wrap does not require pre-wetting, which makes installation faster and cleaner. Its ability to withstand extremely high temperatures makes it suitable for a wide range of exhaust applications, except for titanium exhaust systems, which DEI advises against wrapping due to the risk of premature cracking.
Installation & Fitment:
This exhaust wrap fits most vehicle models and exhaust configurations, making it a versatile choice for many applications. It is designed for a secure, tight fit without the need for pre-wetting, simplifying installation. However, it is important to note that once heat-cycled, the wrap loses its initial flexibility and is not intended to be removed or repositioned.
- Avoid wrapping catalytic converters to prevent overheating and reduced converter lifespan.
- Do not wrap flex-pipes or flex-joints, as the wrap is not designed to accommodate movement after heat cycling.
- DEI does not recommend wrapping titanium exhaust pipes due to the risk of heat retention causing brittleness and cracking.
Color Fade & Maintenance
While the thermal performance of the Black Titanium Wrap remains consistent over time, the black color will gradually fade with use, especially in high-heat applications such as racing or turbo manifolds. The color will fade to the original titanium wrap shade but will not affect the wrap’s protective properties.
What's Included:

What does the ETA date mean?
ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. The date shown is calculated using our Available-to-Promise (ATP) system, which tracks real-time supplier commitments to determine when a product is expected to be available for delivery. Specifically, the date is calculated by adding 9 business days from the date a supplier has committed to ship the product, representing a worst-case scenario for when we can expect to receive inventory.
Please note: The ETA is an estimate, not a guarantee. While we work closely with our suppliers to keep dates as accurate as possible, delays due to shipping carriers, weather, customs, or supplier-side issues may occasionally push the actual arrival beyond the date shown. Likewise, inventory may arrive sooner than the ETA in many cases. If you would like to be notified for when this item arrives, sign up for our back in stock notifications!
