Construction & Design:
The StraightGate50 is meticulously designed and validated in-house to set a new standard in wastegate performance. Its zero-offset butterfly valve pivots centrally, allowing exhaust pressure to act equally on both halves of the valve. This self-balancing mechanism reduces the force needed to open the valve, enabling smoother and more accurate boost control even under extreme conditions.
Unlike traditional poppet-style wastegates that force exhaust gases to make a 90-degree turn, the StraightGate50’s straight-through butterfly design minimizes flow restriction, resulting in significantly improved exhaust gas flow and faster boost response. The use of premium stainless steel materials ensures long-lasting durability and resistance to the harsh environment of turbocharged exhaust systems.
