Overview:
The EBC Yellowstuff Brake Pads are a high-performance rear brake solution designed specifically for the Subaru BRZ (2017–2022) and Toyota 86 (2018–2020). Crafted from an aramid fibre-based compound, these pads deliver exceptional braking power right from cold, making them ideal for both street and track use. Unlike many performance pads that require a warm-up period, Yellowstuff pads provide immediate bite and improve further under heat generated by aggressive driving.
These pads are engineered for enthusiasts who demand strong, consistent braking performance without sacrificing rotor longevity. They have a proven track record in various racing series and are trusted by competitive drivers for their reliability and fade resistance. While they produce more brake dust than some premium street pads, their superior stopping power makes them a top choice for spirited driving and track days.
Key Features:
Designed to meet the demands of street and track drivers, the EBC Yellowstuff Brake Pads offer a blend of performance and durability:
Construction & Design:
The Yellowstuff pads utilize a unique aramid fibre-based friction material that balances aggressive stopping power with rotor friendliness. This compound is engineered to withstand the thermal stresses of track driving while maintaining consistent performance on the street. The pads are vented and precisely dimensioned to fit the rear brake calipers of the Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86, ensuring optimal contact and heat dissipation. Their robust construction supports durability under repeated heavy braking without compromising pedal feel or control.
Performance & Sound
EBC Yellowstuff pads are known for their immediate and strong bite, delivering confident braking performance from the moment you engage the pedal. They maintain consistent friction levels even under high temperatures, effectively eliminating brake fade during spirited driving or track sessions. While these pads are not designed for quiet operation, the sound produced is typical of high-performance brake compounds and is a trade-off for their enhanced stopping power.
Installation & Fitment:
These brake pads are designed as direct replacements for the rear brakes on Subaru BRZ models from 2017 to 2022 and Toyota 86 models from 2018 to 2020. Installation requires no modifications and fits perfectly with the stock brake calipers and rotors. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper bedding and optimal performance. Always verify fitment with your vehicle specifications before purchase.

ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. The date shown is calculated using our Available-to-Promise (ATP) system, which tracks real-time supplier commitments to determine when a product is expected to be available for delivery. Specifically, the date is calculated by adding 9 business days from the date a supplier has committed to ship the product, representing a worst-case scenario for when we can expect to receive inventory.
Please note: The ETA is an estimate, not a guarantee. While we work closely with our suppliers to keep dates as accurate as possible, delays due to shipping carriers, weather, customs, or supplier-side issues may occasionally push the actual arrival beyond the date shown. Likewise, inventory may arrive sooner than the ETA in many cases. If you would like to be notified for when this item arrives, sign up for our back in stock notifications!
