Overview:
The EBC Bluestuff Rear Brake Pads are engineered for drivers who demand superior braking performance on both aggressive street drives and occasional track use. Designed specifically for the Subaru BRZ (2017–2022) and Toyota 86 (2018–2020), these pads deliver exceptional cold bite and a progressive brake feel that enhances driver confidence in all conditions. Featuring a high-friction compound, Bluestuff pads excel at bringing your vehicle to a complete stop with smooth modulation and consistent performance.
Ideal for enthusiasts upgrading their braking system, these pads are optimized for use with quality aftermarket calipers, including multi-piston setups and larger rotors, where improved release, cooling, and pad size contribute to enhanced braking efficiency. While they perform well on many street-based calipers, their true strength lies in sportier applications where aggressive braking is required.
Key Features:
Engineered for both street and track use, the EBC Bluestuff Rear Brake Pads incorporate advanced materials and design elements to maximize performance and durability:
Construction & Design:
The Bluestuff pads utilize a proprietary NDX compound that balances aggressive friction with rotor-friendly characteristics. The chemical interlayer bonding ensures the friction material remains securely attached to the backing plate under extreme conditions, preventing delamination. Deep grooves in the pad surface enhance heat dissipation and help channel away debris, maintaining consistent braking performance. The vented pad design complements larger rotors, improving cooling and reducing fade during spirited driving or track sessions.
Installation & Fitment:
These rear brake pads are a direct fit for the Subaru BRZ models from 2017 through 2022 and Toyota 86 models from 2018 through 2020, designed to work seamlessly with Brembo calipers and similar multi-piston systems. Installation requires no modifications and can be completed using standard brake service procedures. For optimal performance, pairing these pads with compatible rotors and calipers is recommended to fully leverage their advanced material properties.
What's Included:
Ideal For:
These brake pads are perfect for enthusiasts who engage in aggressive street driving and occasional track days, seeking enhanced stopping power without sacrificing rotor longevity. They are especially suited for vehicles equipped with aftermarket multi-piston calipers and larger rotors, where superior pad bite and heat management are critical. Drivers looking for a reliable upgrade over OEM pads that delivers consistent performance from cold start to high-temperature operation will find the Bluestuff pads an excellent choice.
EBC Brakes is a performance-focused braking manufacturer known for enthusiast and motorsport-ready brake pads, rotors, and complete brake kits across a wide range of vehicles. Their catalog spans street upgrades through track compounds, giving drivers options for better bite, heat management, and consistent pedal feel when pushing harder than stock braking can handle.

ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. The date shown is calculated using our Available-to-Promise (ATP) system, which tracks real-time supplier commitments to determine when a product is expected to be available for delivery. Specifically, the date is calculated by adding 9 business days from the date a supplier has committed to ship the product, representing a worst-case scenario for when we can expect to receive inventory.
Please note: The ETA is an estimate, not a guarantee. While we work closely with our suppliers to keep dates as accurate as possible, delays due to shipping carriers, weather, customs, or supplier-side issues may occasionally push the actual arrival beyond the date shown. Likewise, inventory may arrive sooner than the ETA in many cases. If you would like to be notified for when this item arrives, sign up for our back in stock notifications!
